About Me
I have been taking photographs professionally since 2005. I specialize in portraits, event, fine art and commissioned photography. I have a passion for photography and love capturing images ranging from the everyday scenes and items around me and when I'm lucky enough the great culture and landscapes that inspire me during travel.I consider myself very lucky to have a loving and supportive husband, without him none of this would be possible. In fact, if it weren't for him I may not be pursuing my passion for photography at all, as a very thoughtful birthday gift a few years ago (maybe many now) he bought me my very first SLR. Since then I have been creating images every chance I get. I thank him for his constant love and support!
My work has been featured in gallery shows at the Chicago Photography Center and in the Home and Away gallery series at various locations throughout Chicago. My work also appeared in the December 2005 issue of Photographic Magazine for use of light.

Portraits
After having a beautiful daughter in 2007, I began focusing my photography on infants and children. I realize how quickly kids grow and change and how important it is to capture every stage. She has provided endless inspiration with her constant curiosity and unbounded energy.My primary focus is on infants & children, though I also do maternity & family sessions. I have a casual, laid back approach and have fun interacting with children and their families, allowing for more candid photos. I prefer working in an environment that is comfortable for the children and their families, therefore, I work on location at a place of your choice.
Event Photography
I would love to be a part of your event, whether that be a birthday or anniversary party or corporate event. Having a professional photographer there will take the stress off of you for the day and allow you to enjoy your child's birthday, parent's anniversary or work event while knowing that all those special moments will be recorded.Fine Art Photography
I am drawn to objects that are often overlooked, whether in everyday life or in travel. Rarely is the object itself the source of interest. Rather the interest lies in the interplay between the object and light, color or mood--it is this interplay that transforms the everyday into the unique.Commissioned Photography
I have been commissioned for both commercial and artistic photography. Including product representation for web use and distribution purposes. I have also captured unique cityscape and landscape images for clients by understanding that the image must capture the essence of what makes it unique to them.Some of my clients include the UW Credit Union, Wisconsin Spice, Inc., and The Beginner's Backpack.
